Privacy Policy

When you submit a contact form or request a free website check, we collect your name, email address, business name, and website URL (if provided). We collect only what you choose to send us.

We do not collect any payment information directly. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors.

We use your contact information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed, to complete your website project. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you sign up for managed hosting, we retain your contact details for billing and support communications. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at ccrewe@embernorth.ca.

Ember North does not use tracking cookies on this site beyond standard analytics. If Google Analytics is active, it may collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type) in accordance with Google's privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Enquiry and project correspondence is retained for as long as it is reasonably necessary for business records. If you would like your data removed, contact us and we will action your request within 30 days.

We use standard email to communicate with clients. Any third-party services used in your project (hosting providers, domain registrars) have their own privacy policies that govern your data on their platforms.

Under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information held by Ember North. To exercise any of these rights, contact Clinton Crewe at ccrewe@embernorth.ca.
